Today marks the start of my 90 challenge. I am starting my upgrade. My upgrade to be healthier, fitter, and a better mother and wife. Today is day 1 of my Bikini Body Mommy Challenge 3.0.
I love Briana's workouts. I have attempted her challenges in the past, and have yet to complete one. This one will be different. Different why? I am also doing a 30 day paleo challenge. Also started on January 5th. This is a semi following. I found the site on Robins Sweet Confessions. So far it's been a challenge on dinners. I have never had this many dinners in a row not turn out. But I will not give up.
Work out first: This was our fit test day. Whew! That was tough. Weigh ins, measurements, and photos. Only makes me more and more motivated. I mean in the big scheme of things I'm really not too bad. I try to eat pretty healthy, I just snack too much. Especially at night. I want to feel comfortable looking at myself naked in front of a mirror. I want to look at myself at the beach and feel hot even after having two kids.
I can't wait until day 15 when we have our weigh in, measurements, progress photos.
Nutrition: Ok I don't consider this to be a diet this is more a change of life. I challenged Allen to do this with me. We will see how long that continues. It's hard for me to have to plan and prep and pack 5 meals a day for all of us. A lot of work and pressure on me.
First things first is HYDRATION!!! I find her way of breaking it down really works for me. 8 oz of water before you get out of bed. 8 oz at breakfast, and 16 oz before lunch. 8 oz at lunch, 16 oz before dinner and 8 oz at dinner. I have found this easy and I have been so thirsty. I am pretty sure I went above 64oz today.
For breakfast I had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and my coffee. Which I cheated and put regular creamer in.
Lunch I had: tuna salad wrapped in lettuce.
I snacked on celery dipped in sunflower butter.
dinner we had: baked chicken with sauteed baby spinach. (yum yum)
Had a hard time not snacking, I mean really hard!!!!
But I made it :)
